These short Wheel workshops give you a ‘taste’ on using the wheel & how to centre, wedge, throw, trim, glaze and finishing off pieces. Classes are kept to a maximum of 5 people got a great learning experience

Friday evenings & Saturdays Available for private lessons/functions

If booking into a 2.5 hour class & stay for less, full amount is still payable.
Casuals:- 2.5 hrs=$65  2 hrs=$55 1.5hrs=$50

Private Wheel Lessons.

90 mins $95 private (1 or 2 ppl)
$80 Semi Private (3-5 ppl).
$35 for the glazing session of above wheel pieces (up to 1 hour)

TERMS & CONDITIONS:

A 50% deposit is required to secure your place, this is deducted off the total fee. Deposits/Payments are non-refundable. However you may seek a replacement to take your place up till the beginning of the term only. Due to high demand, places cannot be held without payments.

Early bird price is valid only if full payment for the full term is paid upon booking.
Make- up Classes only applies if teacher cancels or special circumstances.
No more than 1 makeup/swap p/person p/term.
No make ups/swaps for late cancellations! (min of 6hrs notice)
No credits carried through to the following term
Work done at home shall incur firing costs. $10p/kg
Some 3rd firings shall incur firing costs.
If attending a class to finish off ‘left-over’ work – a casual fee applies – min $50
Up to 1 shelf worth of firing -(40x30x5)

*Up to 7KG of clay or 4 shelves or 75 cubic cm2 worth of firing p/person p/term included – $10 p/kg there after
Pieces that weigh over 2kg – surcharges apply
No firing of pieces that weigh over 8kg
Students are liable for breakages & spillages

FIRING SERVICES:- per kilo:
$10 bisque; $12 earthenware glaze;
$15 stoneware glaze; $20 porcelain glaze; $40 crystalline

An Additional 2.5% for all credit card payments
We reserve the right to change any Terms or Conditions without prior notice.
We reserve the right to donate, sell or dispose of any pieces that have been left in the studio for over 3 months.
As in any studio there can be elements of surprise- both good and not so good.
